As much as I love Hotel Chocolat … i just discovered Thorntons.co.uk – an online store for the hugely popular chocolate retailer (opened in 1911! – not online of course!) who offers fine chocolates at a reasonable price.
Their website is simple to use and many offers are website exclusives which is one of the things that I recently took advantage of as I was online shopping for an advent calendar and discovered an advent calendar along with two boxes of milk chocolates (3 for 2 Christmas deal) for £24 rather than the £45 that I would normally pay with Hotel Chocolat.
In short, there are few great things about Thorntons
- Good value for excellent produce
- Excellent delivery timescales
- Web exlusive offers
- User friendly website
- Well stocked
What about Hotel Chocolate?
- Probably the most delicious chocolates
- Boxes come well wrapped and sealed
- Joining the chocolate tasting club can save you 5%
Hotel Chocolate is just a little pricey though and as this year my aim is to have a budget christmas gifts I’m definitely going with Thorntons.
